Five-Minute Confidence Reset
For right before the thing that's making you doubt yourself.
- 1Stand tall, shoulders back, feet planted — your posture talks to your nervous system before your thoughts do.
- 2Name one specific thing you've actually done before that proves you can do hard things. Be specific, not general.
- 3Say the next sentence out loud, even quietly: "I don't have to feel ready. I just have to start."
- 4Take three slow breaths, exhaling longer than you inhale.
- 5Walk into the thing before the feeling of readiness fully arrives — it usually catches up once you're moving.
